Summary:
This entity is deep-marine in every documented instance, with first contact consistently occurring at depths beyond the reliable resolution range of conventional instrumentation. Sonar and comparable systems return the entity as an unresolved mass in motion rather than a defined shape prior to visual contact, which this researcher takes as active resistance to measurement rather than instrument limitation. Presence is typically announced through deliberate, patterned physical contact against a vessel's hull before any visual confirmation occurs.
Physically, the entity presents with a smooth, jointless neck of significant length, moving in a single continuous glide rather than segmented motion. The face is human-proportioned but not human. Large, solid, dark eyes, neutral expression, described consistently as clinical or appraising rather than predatory. Two long, narrow arms terminate in oversized, six-fingered hands; contact from these hands present as cradling, positioning, or gentle redirection, never constriction. Subjects report encountering a second, near-identical individual later in the same encounter, confirming this entity operates in pairs or small groups rather than alone; paired individuals position themselves symmetrically around the subject. Both individuals remain fully and evenly lit regardless of surrounding light conditions, including in cases of total external power failure.
No aggression has been recorded in any instance. The entity's method is consistently indirect: rather than attacking or physically confining a subject, it disables systems through direct, deliberate contact while leaving instrumentation to falsely report normal function. Subjects are left stranded by their own compromised environment. Finite air, severed communication, failing power, while the entity itself performs no additional action beyond sustained, close observation. This entity does not appear to acquire its subjects through force or pursuit; it creates the conditions for containment and then waits.
Subjects across multiple accounts describe being regarded specifically as feeling like specimens or curated objects, with the entity's behavior read as procedural rather than emotional. Study and appraisal rather than hunger or entertainment. Time-display instability, specifically clock or system-time flickering between adjacent values, has been recorded preceding contact in more than one account and should be treated as an identifying precursor. In at least one instance, the site of final containment showed geometric regularity inconsistent with natural seafloor formation, suggesting a fixed or recurring location rather than an improvised one.
Researcher Notes: This is the only entity that appears to continuously be housed in our own dimension and not that of prior entities.
